Mr. Bui Le Tuan, FUN General Manager, has just earned the XMP (Employee Experience Management Professional) certification. This is an international certification for employee experience management, making him the first person from FPT Japan and one of three staff members at FPT Software to hold this credential.
XMP is an international certification issued by the XM Institute, recognizing competence and professional experience in the field of Experience Management. For Mr. Tuan, the journey to obtain this certification was not only a proud career milestone but also a way to validate what the Employee Experience team at FPT Japan has built over time.
According to Mr. Tuan, after three years of implementing employee‑experience initiatives, he wanted to know whether the methods his team applied were based on intuition or truly aligned with international standards. The result gave him great confidence, as many of FPT Japan’s practices closely match globally recognized methodologies.
To earn the certification, he used after‑work hours, weekends, and travel time for study and review. However, the biggest challenge was not the knowledge or the exam itself but maintaining discipline amid a heavy daily workload. He also thanks Ms. Duong Thuy Anh (DCE.EX) for her dedicated guidance, experience sharing, and support during the early days of his certification pursuit.
During his studies, the insight that impressed him most was the correct perspective on Employee Experience (EX). EX is not merely about organizing engagement activities or internal events; it is a process of designing experiences that enable employees to work more efficiently, stay more connected, and contribute to the sustainable growth of the business.

From that viewpoint, he believes the difference between organizations lies not only in processes but also in the human experience of going through those processes. When employee experience is optimized, work performance, engagement levels, and talent retention all improve.
After obtaining the XMP certification, Mr. Tuan aims to make employee‑experience management at FPT Japan more systematic and data‑driven. He especially emphasizes the role of AI in standardizing processes, while affirming that understanding people remains the core foundation for building corporate culture.
In his view, an Employee Experience professional in the AI era must combine three key elements: understanding people, leveraging data, and being ready to work with AI. Technology can greatly assist in analysis, automation, and experience optimization, but the decisions that create connection and emotion still require the human factor.
Mr. Tuan’s achievement is both a personal milestone and a testament to the professional capability of the Employee Experience team at FPT Japan, opening new approaches for building a happy, connected, and sustainably developing workplace in the age of AI.
